These cards are meant to provoke conversation and debate. We use them to help inform, validate, and transform how teachers, school leaders and parents think about the science of learning – and part of their power is that they are written in a way to jolt current thinking. The responsible use of these research-informed cards means that, like all MBE research,  you need to consider them in the context of your own school and your own students. It helps to have a moderator who has read the cards and who thoroughly understands the research on each of them, and the nuances of what it means and what it does not mean.
